I decided to try my luck at making a 100% Hand made fishing lure. I took a piece of wood and hand carved it down to size. I then decided to use a wood burner to create a design for the lure. I figured what's better than a functional lure, that has keepsake value.

After I made my first lure by scratch, a friend of mine bought me a make your own fishing lure kit. The bodies were already cut & shaped to size. All I had to do on these guys was paint them, and attach the hardware. However I think I like the idea of making it from 100% scratch better.
